The AN5516-04 has a strong adaptability to the environment and can be deployed quickly. In FTTx networks, the OLT is moved closer to the user side, which can save backbone optical cable resources. This solves the problem of a few users and long access distance, when FTTx services are applied in an area with a low population density.
AN5516-04 is 8-32PON ports GPON/EPON OLT, which is suitable for Small &Medium FTTx projects to offer triple play service. It complies with ITU-T G.984.x serial standards, provide GPON transmission with uplink/downlink bandwidth of 1.25/2.45 Gbit/s.
Deployed at the remote end, including the base stations (BSs) and outdoor environments

The AN5516-04 OLT functions as a large-capacity aggregation device on the network to aggregate the traffic from ONTs, MDUs, and campus switches, thereby simplifying the network architecture and reducing the OPEX.
